Hernon Manufacturing's Air-Cooled Conveyor-Cure Ultraviolet Curing
Irradiator systems meet
all application criteria. Conveyor-Cure Irradiators are designed
for research laboratory use, curing ultraviolet inks, coatings,
and adhesives, retrofit to existing conveyers and infra-red ovens
or integration into Hernon Manufacturing's variable speed conveyor-curing
systems.
Conveyor-Cure Irradiators are constructed totally of extruded
aluminum. Side extrusion housing incorporates optical shielding
mounts for personal safety and easy of operation. Exclusive
heat
sink fin design is of extruded aluminum. Reflector holder dissipates
heat and prevents polished aluminum reflector distortion.
Custom U.L. approved, key-locked, high voltage/high temperature
silicone wire connector is utilized between power supply and
irradiator.
Centrally located cooling fans keep the ultraviolet curing lamps
at optimum temperaturefor all curing applications.
Relamping is accomplished by lifting top cover ofirradiator
while side extrusions and shielding remain stationary.
Conveyor-Cure Irradiators will accommodate either 200 or 300
watt-per-inch ultraviolet curing lamps. Hernon Manufacturing's
curing lamps are designed with output between 185 and 400 nanometer
ultraviolet curing range, with 1000-hour useful life.
Conveyor-Cure Power Supplies are completely wired and clearly
labeled for operational ease. All Power Supplies incorporate
high/low optional lamp intensity control at 200 WPI and tri-power
switching on 300 WPI systems. |

Caution
Conveyor-Cure Irradiators emit ultraviolet radiation, which is
harmful to eyes and skin. Great care should be taken to insure
that personnel area not exposed to direct or reflected radiation.
Suitable eye and skin protection, such Hernon's Safety Glasses
and Hernon's Safety Goggles should be worn when lamp I in operation.
Before cleaning and relamping, always turn the power OFF.
