Formulations

Gasket Replacer 906 is a single component room temperature cure gel-like anaerobic gasketing compound formulated to provide instant sealing capabilities. Once cured between mating metal flanges filling voids in the surface, Gasket Replacer 906 provides a thin, flexible, solvent and temperature resistant seal. Gasket Replacer 906 can replace or be used as a dressing for conventional gaskets.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 225 is a single component, high strength, anaerobic compound used to lock and seal coarse threaded nuts, bolts, and studs in a wide variety of applications.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 223 is a single component, high strength, anaerobic compound used to lock and seal coarse threaded nuts, bolts, and studs in a wide variety of applications.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 220 is a single component, high strength, anaerobic compound used to lock and seal fine threaded nuts, bolts, and studs in a wide variety of applications.

Tuffbond® 317 is a two component, room temperature cure system. By changing the ratio of resin and hardener, the cured adhesive can change from a tough and flexible to a hard and rigid system. The resin offers a unique combination of hardness and flexibility with high chemical and solvent resistance. Tuffbond® 317 is recommended for bonding metal, glass, wood, concrete, and rubber, and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

Primer 49 is a single component, non-CFC solvent based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 49 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants is required. It is especially recommended for applications with passive metals or inert surfaces and with large bond gaps. It is particularly recommended for cure conditions below 15°C. Primer 49 meets the requirements of MIL-S-22473E (Grade T) and ASTM D5363 (Grade T).

Tuffbond® 310 adhesive/sealant is a two-component epoxy, 100% solid system, two to one ratio, room temperature cure system. Tuffbond® 310 is recommended for bonding metals, wood, and ceramics.

Tuffbond® 394 is a single component, high temperature resistant, heat activated epoxy. It cures to a high-performance thermoset system with excellent adhesion properties to a wide variety of substrates. Tuffbond® 394 will change from amber-yellow to a reddish brown upon cure. Bonding the voice coil to the cone has been a challenge for engineers, specifically when the adhesive temperature resistance requirement is above 200°F (93°C). Two component epoxy was commonly used for this application, but limitations such as mixing ratio, cure speed, potential solidification in equipment and the need for equipment flushing solvents have made Tuffbond® 394 more practical.

Tuffbond® 395 is a single component, high temperature resistant, heat activated epoxy. DEACTIVATOR FOR UV FOG, 500 GRAMS

Hernon External Ammunition Sealant 76070 is a single component, U.V curable anaerobic sealant. 76070 has a low viscosity penetrating material capable of bonding and sealing primers and case mouths in ammunition. This sealant is specially formulated for Ammunition that needs greater fit tolerance and higher bullet pull forces. Curing occurs when the adhesive is applied between mating surfaces. The cured adhesive is a thermoset plastic suitable and endures exposure to most solvents. Ammunition Sealant 76070 cures quickly at room temperature without the need for surface activators or heat to seal primer and case mouth assemblies. Fixturing strength develops in two to three minutes, Full strength will be reached in 24 hours. Cure fillets at UV light irradiances above 100 milliwatts/cm² to insure proper cure. CM8005 is a single-component room temperature cure gel-like anaerobic gasketing compound formulated to provide instant sealing capabilities. Once cured between mating metal flanges and filling voids in the surface, CM8005 provides a thin, flexible, solvent and temperature resistant seal.

Tuffbond® 313 adhesive/sealant is a two component, 100% solid system, one to one ratio, room temperature cure system. Tuffbond® 313 is recommended for bonding metals, wood, ceramics, etc., and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

Primer 57 is a single component, solvent-free, reactive monomer-based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 57 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic products is required, and for difficult to bond applications where galvanized steel or zinc electroplated surfaces are involved. This product was specially formulated for increasing bond integrity on dichromated surfaces.

Cleaner 62 is a non-aqueous, hydrocarbon based, non-CFC industrial solvent which removes oil and grease completely. This cleaning solvent prepares the surface for bonding with Hernon® Adhesives and Sealants. Cleaner 62 is recommended for final cleaning prior to assembling parts with Hernon® Adhesives and Sealants. It is not recommended for cleaning (flushing) equipment or for cleaning printed circuit boards and printed circuit assemblies.

Instantbond® 109 is a low viscosity, state-of-the-art, single component, solventless, room temperature curing cyanoacrylate adhesive that polymerizes rapidly when pressed into a thin film between parts. The presence of surface moisture commences the cure of the adhesive. Instantbond® 109 develops handling strength within seconds and full functional strength in a few hours. Instantbond® 109 can bond a wide variety of surfaces including thermoplastics, elastomers, ceramics, leather, cork, and paper, but is particularly suited for bonding metal substrates. Notwithstanding the superior bonding capability of Instantbond® 109, it is NOT recommended for long-term glass to glass bonding applications.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 431 is a wicking anaerobic used for preassembled equipment and structures where penetration into fastener connection points is required. This product allows very simple preventive maintenance by permitting thread locking without dismantling equipment. The product “wicks” into voids by capillary action. Use Nuts N’ Bolts® 431 to seal pores or pinhole porosity in welded seams, tanks, castings, or metal parts. The cured adhesive is a thermoset plastic suitable for temperatures up to 400°F (204°C), and exposure to most solvents.

Instantbond® 121 is a very high viscosity, state-of-the-art, single component, solventless, room temperature curing cyanoacrylate adhesive that polymerizes rapidly when pressed into a thin film between parts. The presence of surface moisture commences the cure of the adhesive. Instantbond® 121 develops handling strength within seconds and full functional strength in a few hours. Instantbond® 121 can bond a wide variety of surfaces including metals, thermoplastics, elastomers, ceramics, leather, cork, and paper. Notwithstanding the superior bonding capability of Instantbond® 123, it is NOT recommended for long-term glass to glass bonding applications.

Instantbond® 127 is a gel consistency single component, solvent-less, room temperature adhesive that sets in seconds when confined between two surfaces. The gel consistency allows for gap filling capability and prevents migration to unwanted areas.
