Hernon’s Bullet Tip ID Coating is the latest technology in ammunition identification, specifically formulated for using inkjet applications, offering advances in adhesion, scratch resistance, and superior print quality. Dissipator® 745 is a thermally conductive room temperature cure adhesive that is designed for bonding electrical components to heat sink with a controlled gap. Dissipator® 745, through a special shimming property, insulates the component electrically while allowing thermal conductivity. This special shimming feature produces a constant gap of 0.005 in. to 0.006 in. between components.

This Sealant is specially formulated for Ammunition that needs greater fit tolerance and higher bullet pull forces. Curing occurs when the adhesive is applied between mating surfaces. The cured adhesive is a thermoset plastic and endures exposure to most solvents. Ammunition Sealant 76984 cures quickly at room temperature without the need for surface activators or heat to seal primer and case mouth assemblies. Hernon® 525 is a pre-applied, micro-encapsulated adhesive for threaded fasteners. Hernon® 525 stays on the bolt until the shearing action of an engaging nut applied to the coated bolt causes the capsules to break allowing the adhesive to cure. This material securely locks and seals against vibration loosening and fluid leakage. Hernon® HPS Activator 4322 is used to activate Hernon® Hernon Porosity Sealant (HPS) resins. HPS resins cures to form a thermoset polymer when exposed to elevated temperature. Thermal content and coefficient of thermal transfer in the workpieces influence the cure rate of the HPS system. Higher temperatures produce quicker cure rates. HPS resins generally cures within the range of 177°F (80°C) to 205°F (96°C). Proper cure requires the workpiece to uniformly attain full cure temperature. Parts that do not transfer heat well will required longer processing times. Efficient thermal conductivity yields shorter processing cycles. Parts with heavier cross sections require longer exposure at heat to attain sufficient temperature internally. Carefully consider part geometry. Consult Hernon® Technical Service for specific process requirements.

Hernon 397 is a single component, high temperature resistant, heat activated epoxy. It cures to a high-performance thermoset system with excellent adhesion properties to a wide variety of substrates. Tuffbond 397 will change from amber-yellow to a reddish brown upon cure. Hernon Dissipator 745D is a thermally conductive room temperature cure adhesive that is designed for bonding electrical components to heat sink with a controlled gap. Nuts N’ Bolts® 423 is a single component anaerobic thread locking material, which is thixotropic and develops medium strength. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and is particularly suitable for less active substrates such a stainless steel and plated surfaces.

Tuffbond® 313 adhesive/sealant is a two component, 100% solid system, one to one ratio, room temperature cure system. Tuffbond® 313 is recommended for bonding metals, wood, ceramics, etc., and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

Tuffbond® 395 is a single component, high temperature resistant, heat activated epoxy. It cures to a high-performance thermoset system with excellent adhesion properties to a wide variety of substrates. Tuffbond® 395 will change from amber to a reddish brown upon cure. Bonding the voice coil to the cone has been a challenge for engineers, specifically when the adhesive temperature resistance requirement is above 200°F (93°C). Two component epoxy systems have been most commonly used for this application, but limitations such as mixing ratio, cure speed, potential solidification in equipment and static mixers and the need for equipment flushing solvents have made Tuffbond® 395 more practical.

Primer 50 is a single component, non-CFC solvent-based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 50 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants is required. It is especially recommended for applications with passive metals or inert surfaces and with large bond gaps. It is particularly recommended for cure conditions below 15°C. Primer 50 meets the requirements of ASTM D5363 (Grade N) and MIL-S-46163A Grade F.

Rust Eliminator 32 is a new revolutionary product for eliminating old rust and preventing new rust on steel parts. Rust is chemically transformed into an inert, non-corrosive coating.

Tuffbond® 394 is a single component, high temperature resistant, heat activated epoxy. It cures to a high-performance thermoset system with excellent adhesion properties to a wide variety of substrates. Tuffbond® 394 will change from amber-yellow to a reddish brown upon cure. Primer 49 is a single component, non-CFC solvent based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 49 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants is required. It is especially recommended for applications with passive metals or inert surfaces and with large bond gaps. It is particularly recommended for cure conditions below 15°C. Primer 49 meets the requirements of MIL-S-22473E (Grade T) and ASTM D5363 (Grade T).

Hernon® has taken the excellent bond strength of Fusionbond adhesive family and merged it with the simplicity of a two-component, no-mix curing system to create Fusionbond® 374. Fusionbond® 374 is a 100% solid, room temperature cure, versatile structural adhesive which is used in conjunction with Hernon® Activator 56, 15 or 16. This formulation will offer rapid, high strength and high impact resistant bonds to a variety of substrates within minutes. Designed for a wide variety of substrates, Fusionbond® 374 offers excellent temperature and chemical resistance. The two-component, no-mix system allows controlled assembly ideal for production and repair applications. A structural bond develops within minutes.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 248 is a single component anaerobic compound used to lock and seal fine threaded nuts, bolts and studs in a wide variety of applications requiring easy removal or adjustment.

Tuffbond® 317 is a two component, room temperature cure system. By changing the ratio of resin and hardener, the cured adhesive can change from a tough and flexible to a hard and rigid system. The resin offers a unique combination of hardness and flexibility with high chemical and solvent resistance. Tuffbond® 317 is recommended for bonding metal, glass, wood, concrete, and rubber, and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 220 is a single component, high strength, anaerobic compound used to lock and seal fine threaded nuts, bolts, and studs in a wide variety of applications.

SelfSealer® 604 is a tough, pre-applied, non-hardening threaded sealant. When dried, it becomes a resilient, tight clinging, non-curing sealant for tapered or straight threads. It provides an instant seal on different pipe threads and can be used up to eight (8) times without recoating. SelfSealer® 604 is water based, non-toxic, safe and can be applied easily without special handling precautions. It provides resistance to vibrational loosening because of its prevailing torque characteristics. Therefore, it is very effective on non-locking applications.

Gasket Replacer 906 is a single component room temperature cure gel-like anaerobic gasketing compound formulated to provide instant sealing capabilities. Once cured between mating metal flanges filling voids in the surface, Gasket Replacer 906 provides a thin, flexible, solvent and temperature resistant seal. Gasket Replacer 906 can replace or be used as a dressing for conventional gaskets.

Cylinlock® 822 is a high performance, single component, 100% active anaerobic adhesive/sealant formulated for dependable bonding of fitted cylindrical parts. Cylinlock® 822 offers high strength as well as superior heat and chemical resistant bonding at room temperature. Cylinlock® 822 is formulated for applications, which require superior strength with temperature resistance up to 300°F (149°C).

UV FOG (Form on Gasket) 702 is an EB/UV curable product that provides excellent adhesion to shaft seals, oil seals, metals, glass, ceramics and plastics. Can be used as a Form-in-place gasket in oil and coolant systems. Typical applications include Engine covers, Oil pans and other fluid seal systems.

Tuffbond® 304 is also recommended for bonding metals, wood, ceramics, etc., and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

Hernon® Porosity Sealant (HPS) Surfactant 381001 is a single component product designed to be used as wetting agent.

Cylinlock® 843 is a fast curing, high strength anaerobic adhesive yielding higher shear strengths with temperature resistance up to 300°F (149°C) It provides relatively quick cures, outstanding solvent resistance, and improved reliability for metal service applications. Flexible and good for use on Brass.

Cylinlock® 847 is a high temperature, high strength anaerobic adhesive designed to retain and seal cylindrical assemblies. This compound will cure on metallic or non-metallic substrates and is suitable for exposure to most solvents.

Nuts N’ Bolts® 236 is a single component medium strength, anaerobic compound used to lock and seal fine threaded nuts, bolts and studs in a wide variety of applications where removal with ordinary hand tools is necessary.

HASA 718 is a single component structural anaerobic adhesive formulated for bonding rigid assemblies. HASA 718 cures when it is confined between mating surfaces. Hernon? Activator 56 accelerates the cure.

Cylinlock® 846 is a fast-curing, high-strength anaerobic adhesive yielding higher shear strengths with temperature resistance up to 300°F (149°C). It provides relatively quick cures, outstanding solvent resistance, and improved reliability for metal service applications. Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for use in commercial and residential potable water systems.

Cylinlock® 94953 is a high-temperature, high strength anaerobic adhesive designed to retain and seal cylindrical assemblies. This compound will cure on metallic or non-metallic substrates and is suitable for exposure to most solvents.

Dripstop® 920 is a general-purpose anaerobic pipe sealant which contains Teflon®. It has superior sealing and mild locking performance compared to tapes and non-hardening dopes. The properties of this Dripstop® prevents galling on Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and other metal pipe fittings. Dripstop® 920 reduces costs by eliminating leakage and increasing the assembly line speed. Dripstop® 920 seals to moderate pressure immediately and to 250 psig steam pressure in just 24 hours. This sealant also lubricates threads during make-up, prevents galling and assures smooth disassembly. UL Classification – File MH14222 Classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.® as to fire hazard only. 920 Pipe Sealant with Teflon®. Fire hazard is small. No flash point in liquid state. Ignition temperature 455°C (851°F). For use in devices handling gasoline, petroleum oils, natural gas (pressure not to exceed 300 psig), butane and propane not exceeding 2 in. pipe size. 29R9.

Porosity Sealant (HPS) 991 is the solution to leak proof parts, improving machinability, in addition to increasing the durability and surface quality for painting and plating. The required addition of HPS Initiator 91 activates HPS 991R enabling the system to cure at elevated temperatures (HPS 991). The hardened resins exhibit superior chemical resistance and elevated temperature stability. The microscopic voids, where potential leaks occur (between metal grains or ceramic plastic molecules) in the part are filled by the low viscosity resin during vacuum application. Sealed micropores cure without shrinkage when exposed to elevated temperature to form tough cross-linked thermoset polymer, permanently sealing the workpiece. Residual adhesive film is water-washed from the part surfaces during rinsing. The parts leave the impregnating process without surface residue and can then be used in production immediately. When used in preparation for plating or painting processes, the impregnation process also eliminates absorption of plating materials (like acids) or painting prep solvents that could otherwise later bleed out of pores causing finishes to discolor, bleed, pit or peel. Sealed powdered metal parts exhibit better machinability, enhanced tool life and better dimensional control.

Supertacker® 67662 is a single component, high performance elastomeric adhesive that exhibits exceptional bonding characteristics to a broad range of materials including metals, glass, plastic composites, rubber, leather, wood and vinyl. Supertacker® 67662 provides a tough, waterproof bond that won’t crack or become brittle.
