Formulations

Primer 50 is a single component, non-CFC solvent-based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 50 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants is required. It is especially recommended for applications with passive metals or inert surfaces and with large bond gaps. It is particularly recommended for cure conditions below 15°C. Primer 50 meets the requirements of ASTM D5363 (Grade N) and MIL-S-46163A Grade F.

Primer 57 is a single component, solvent-free, reactive monomer-based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 57 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic products is required, and for difficult to bond applications where galvanized steel or zinc electroplated surfaces are involved. This product was specially formulated for increasing bond integrity on dichromated surfaces.

Quantum® 150 UV is a single component, solventless, room temperature curing cyanoacrylate adhesive with light curing property. The presence of surface moisture and/or light (UV or Visible light) commence the cure of the adhesive. Quantum® 150 UV develops handling strength within seconds and full functional strength within minutes. Quantum 150 UV can bond a wide variety of surfaces including thermoplastics, elastomers. Product Benefits: • Rapid Cure: forms a strong bond by moisture curing at room temperature in less than a minute with contact pressure. • Light curing property: can be easily cured by irradiation with light. Blushing can be also prevented by UV curing. • Surfaces: will bond almost any combination of similar or dissimilar materials. • Easy Use: single component feature, eliminates any mixing. • Due to low viscosity, it can penetrate gaps between surfaces.

Quantum® 156 is a single-component cyanoacrylate adhesive formulated for impact, thermal shock and peel resistance.

Quantum® 73421 is a state-of-the-art, single component, solventless, room temperature curing cyanoacrylate adhesive that polymerizes rapidly when pressed into a thin film between parts. The presence of surface moisture commences the cure of the adhesive. Quantum? 73421 develops handling strength within seconds and full functional strength in a few hours. Quantum? 73421 can bond a wide variety of surfaces including metals, thermoplastics, elastomers, ceramics, leather, cork, and paper, but is particularly suited for bonding hard-to-bond plastics. Notwithstanding the superior bonding capability of Quantum? 73421, it is NOT recommended for long-term glass to glass bonding applications.

ReAct® 727 is a tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for securing of ceramic permanent magnet segments in motor magnet bonding applications. This adhesive has also found wide acceptance in a variety of structural bonding applications due to its versatile performance capabilities. ReAct® 727 has demonstrated the ability to provide high tensile strength while maintaining excellent product flexibility. This results in tough, durable bonds with outstanding impact and peel resistance. This tough acrylic is a room temperature curing adhesive which is used in conjunction with Hernon® Activator 56.

ReAct® 730 is a high strength non-flammable structural adhesive. This adhesive provides a resilient and rapid cure at room temperature when used with Hernon® Activator 56 or Activator 59. ReAct® 730 will provide high strength bonds on a variety of metals, ceramics, glass, and some plastics.

ReAct® 761 is a tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for bonding permanent magnets. ReAct® 761 has also found wide acceptance in a variety of structural bonding applications due to its versatile performance capabilities. ReAct® 761 provides high tensile strength while maintaining excellent product flexibility. This results in tough durable bonds with outstanding impact and peel resistance. ReAct® 761 is a single component adhesive used in combination with Hernon® Activator 59, Activator 56 or Activator 63 for curing at room temperature. The adhesive may also be heat cured at 150°C.

ReAct® 766 is a tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for bonding permanent magnets. ReAct® 766 has also found wide acceptance in a variety of structural bonding applications due to its versatile performance capabilities. ReAct® 766 provides high tensile strength while maintaining excellent product flexibility. This results in tough durable bonds with outstanding impact and pee1 resistance. Temperature resistance from –40°C (-40°F) to 204°C (400°F). ReAct® 766 is a single component adhesive used in combination with Hernon® Activator 59 or Activator 63 for curing at room temperature. The adhesive may also be heat cured at 150°C.

ReAct® 767 is a high performance tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for securing ceramic permanent magnet segments in motor magnet bonding applications. Used in conjunction with Hernon® Activator 56/ Activator 47, this structural adhesive is ideal for choke and transformer bonding, DC motor assembly, alternator and flywheel applications, tacking, unitizing, ruggedizing, sealing and shallow potting. ReAct® 767 fixtures in seconds, is acrylic acid free and non-corrosive, non-flammable, and suitable for harsh environments. ReAct® 767 exhibits good thermal shock, impact and peel resistance characteristics, and excellent adhesion to a wide variety of plated surfaces.

ReAct® 784 has excellent bond strength as a structural adhesive. This formulation will offer rapid, high strength and high impact resistant bonds to a variety of substrates within minutes. Designed for a wide variety of substrates. ReAct® 784 is a room temperature curing adhesive, used in combination with Activator 15. This no-mix system allows controlled assembly ideal for production and repair applications. A structural bond develops within minutes.

ReAct® 795 is a tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for securing of ceramic permanent magnet segments in motor magnet bonding applications. This adhesive has also found wide acceptance in a variety of structural bonding applications due to its versatile performance capabilities. ReAct® 795 has demonstrated the ability to provide high tensile strength while maintaining excellent product flexibility. This results in tough, durable bonds with outstanding impact and peel resistance. This tough acrylic is a single component, room temperature curing adhesive which is used in conjunction with Activator 47. Additionally, exposure to a high intensity UV light will cure this adhesive to a dry, hard surface. ReAct® 795 is similar in function to Loctite A533 and Loctite AA332 and delivers high shear strength and tensile strength. One of its primary uses is securing permanent magnets in motor magnet bonding applications. Rust Eliminator 32 is a new revolutionary product for eliminating old rust and preventing new rust on steel parts. Rust is chemically transformed into an inert, non-corrosive coating.

Rust Inhibitor 40 is an effective corrosion remover and rust preventative which leaves a protective finish for up to 1 year. Produces a clean, dry surface that can be painted, plated or powder coated afterward with no pre-cleaning. Not for use with zinc plated or magnesium items. Rust Inhibitor 40 is used on rusted steel when only a minimum surface preparation is practical. Rust Inhibitor 40 protects, cleans and leaves a protective coating.

Self Locker 523 is a pre-applied micro-encapsulated adhesive for threaded fasteners. Self Locker 523 stays dry-to-the-touch until the shearing action of an engaging nut applied to the coated bolt causes the capsules to break allowing the adhesive to cure. This material securely locks and seals against vibration loosening and fluid leakage.

Hernon® 525 is a pre-applied, micro-encapsulated adhesive for threaded fasteners. Hernon® 525 stays on the bolt until the shearing action of an engaging nut applied to the coated bolt causes the capsules to break allowing the adhesive to cure. This material securely locks and seals against vibration loosening and fluid leakage. SelfSealer® 604 is a tough, pre-applied, non-hardening threaded sealant. When dried, it becomes a resilient, tight clinging, non-curing sealant for tapered or straight threads. It provides an instant seal on different pipe threads and can be used up to eight (8) times without recoating. SelfSealer® 604 is water based, non-toxic, safe and can be applied easily without special handling precautions. It provides resistance to vibrational loosening because of its prevailing torque characteristics. Therefore, it is very effective on non-locking applications.

SelfSealer® 615 is a high viscosity, tough, pre-applied, non-hardening threaded sealant. When dried, it becomes a resilient, tight clinging, non-curing sealant for tapered or straight threads. It provides an instant seal on different pipe threads and can be used up to eight (8) times without recoating.
