    Primer 37824 is a single component, solvent-free, reactive monomer-based product designed to promote the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Primer 37824 is used where increased cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic products is required, and for difficult to bond applications where galvanized steel or zinc electroplated surfaces are involved. This product was specially formulated for increasing bond integrity on dichromated surfaces.

    HPS 38374

    Porosity Sealant (HPS) 38374R is the solution to leak proof parts, improving machinability, in addition to increasing the durability and surface quality for painting and plating. The required addition of HPS Initiator activates the dual-cure system enabling the system to cure anaerobically at room temperature or at elevated temperatures. The cured, hardened resin exhibits superior chemical resistance and elevated temperature stability. The microscopic voids, where potential leaks occur (between metal grains or ceramic or plastic molecules) in the part are filled by low viscosity resin during vacuum application. Sealed micro-pores cure without shrinkage to a tough, cross-linked, thermoset polymer, permanently sealing the work piece. Residual adhesive film is washed from the part surfaces by water during the rinsing cycle. The parts leave the impregnating process without surface residue and can then be used in production within a short period of time. When used in preparation for plating or painting processes, the impregnation process also eliminates absorption of plating material (like acids) or painting prep solvents that could otherwise bleed out of the pores causing finishes to discolor, blister, pit or peel. Sealed powdered metal parts exhibit better machinability, enhanced tool life and better dimensional control.

It cures to a high-performance thermoset system with excellent adhesion properties to a wide variety of substrates. Tuffbond® 394 will change from amber-yellow to a reddish brown upon cure. Bonding the voice coil to the cone has been a challenge for engineers, specifically when the adhesive temperature resistance requirement is above 200°F (93°C). Two component epoxy was commonly used for this application, but limitations such as mixing ratio, cure speed, potential solidification in equipment and the need for equipment flushing solvents have made Tuffbond® 394 more practical.

    HASA 39781 is a single-component, anaerobic, structural adhesive designed for bonding rigid assemblies. HASA 39781 cure is accomplished when mating surfaces including metal, glass and ceramics are joined together. Accelerated cures are possible with the application of primers or by a short, low temperature heat cycle. Upon cure, HASA 39781 is a highly crosslinked thermoset plastic with excellent properties over a wide range of conditions.

    Grenade Igniter Case Sealant 40995 is a single component anaerobic thread locking and sealing adhesive. Grenade Igniter Case Sealant 40995 is a low viscosity penetrating material that works by capillary action between mating surfaces. The cured adhesive is a high-performance thermoset plastic suitable for temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). Grenade Igniter Case Sealant 40995 cures quickly at room temperature without the need for surface activators or heat to join threaded assemblies. Fixturing strength develops in five minutes, or within 10 seconds by exposing the edge fillets to high intensity long wavelength UV light (365 nm). Full strength will be reached in 24 hours. Cure fillets at UV light irradiances above 60 milliwatts/cm² to insure proper cure.
